 Taking the GMAT
Most business schools require a GMAT score to help admissions committees evaluate applicants. Before preparing for the GMAT you should confirm that your preferred business schools require it.
Your work record is usually the most important part of your application, but your first degree and GMAT score play a significant role. Most business schools will say they do not have a cut-off point for acceptable GMAT scores, however they agree that a good score can tip the balance in your favour. Your first degree and your work experience to date are already established, so it is important to prepare for the application component you have some control over - your GMAT.
